These socks were perfect! I bought them for kickball - more for a fashion piece and also to protect my shins just in case as sometimes I end up with red shins. These socks eliminated the shins and I wear them all the time.The fit was exactly as expected and I have slightly larger feet for a women's size (9 1/2) so it worked great. I would recommend these socks to anyone and also works well over yoga pants.One small comment - if you are playing in the summer it can get hot as it's thick material but it was manageable.
