I’ve owned mine for about a year now, and they’ve held up extraordinarily well, considering how much I’ve used them and how affordably priced they are (as far as hiking boots go). They’ve seen numerous hikes, camping trips, rockhounding trips, and the like, and aside from a few small scuffs and scratches, they’re almost good as new. Not only are they durable, but also very comfortable. I don’t recall a single time where I’ve worn my boots out and had noticeable foot pain- aside from that little ache that you get whenever you’re on your feet for a few hours, of course. As a whole, I can’t say I have any regrets about buying these boots, and I would recommend them to you if you are looking for good hiking boots but don’t want to spend a small fortune.I use the shoes to work on the land and cutting wood. The shoe strings constantly come untied, and tripping on them is not good when using a chainsaw. I would have thought that the shoe string would be a good quality for a work shoe. These are very comfortable as I was skeptical since I have one foot that swell. I do recommend them!Excellent product; well made and very comfortable.I've worn my old pair for quite a while, long days outside in all kinds of weather (except snow) and they have held up really well (the pair on the right--obviously). The leather probably would have faired better if I took better care of them but they have been a casualty of too much to do and too little time. The tread is about half worn (I would have needed to clean them better to take a picture) but they are still grippy. I've never noticed my feet get hot, even on warm days. My feet do get wet though, even with applying aftermarket waterproofing, and it doesn't even need to be rain or a deep puddle; just walking through wet grass can be enough to soak my feet. But even though they aren't waterproof (for me), they are super rugged and fairly comfortable. My new pair seems to have an uncomfortable spot on the side of the footbed but I am hoping new insoles will eliminate that or I will get used to it. They also seem a bit marred (which doesn't matter to me) and a little tight in the sides which I hope will loosen up with wear. I'll probably trade off between the two pairs until the new ones are broken in and the old ones break down. These boots are worth the price. They are comfortable, stylish and durable.fit amazing and perfect for hikingClassic Timbo style fit and utility.Having worn my old Timberlands to death I needed a new pair, I wasn't looking at any other brand for these shoes as my old ones have lasted so long and were such high quality, but I work outdoors so I opted for the waterproof hiking version (instead of the classic leather). However, these ARE NOT waterproof, walking through grass of any length they let water through the laces, my feet are soaking every time I wear them. I've never bothered to write a review before but I have in this case because of how dissatisfied I am.Overall they are very comfy, fit well, great ankle support and would be great boots for those walking in drier climates or where ground is a bit damp, but if you're needing something for keeping your feet dry these are NOT the boots for you!Love these boots! Ordered a size 6, as usual, my feet are just slightly smaller 5.5, E fitting. With an extra pair of socks they fit like a glove, not tight, toes still have wriggle room. Very comfortable and supportive and did not need breaking in.Most importantly for me is the waterproofing efficiency which was put to the test on the beach when the incoming tide took me by surprise. The water surged almost to the top of the boot and over the tongue. I was skeptical. Absolutely delighted that my foot stayed dry! No leakage. I had sprayed the boots with a nubuck water-proofer when they arrived just over a week ago.A little slippery on wet rocks with seaweed but the soles are not expected to be used for that. I did walk over snowy, slippery pavements with caution....wasn't confident about how 'grippy' they were, it was the first time of wearing. As long as they continue to keep water out and warmth in, I will reorder....not for a few years yet, hopefully.Purchased these for my wife who's an avid walker. As with most new boots she expected to have to break them in and have a couple of blisters or hot spots but she hasn't had a single issue and she's already done dozens of miles in them. She told me that they are as comfortable as her trainers but with the support of a really good walking boot, therefore I would highly recommend these boots. These boots are great. Totally waterproof and comfortable. I would definitely suggest ordering a half size bigger. I'm usually a size 7 but my toes touched the end. Other than that they're worth every penny.Speedy delivery. When I first tried them on I thought they felt too small I was aware of my toe touching the toe of the boot, but turned out I had the inappropriate socks on!!I wore them on a 9 Mile walk straight away they were very comfortable no blisters or rubbing so really pleased. They are well made , and after wearing them for a short time the leather is already softening up & looking good. I cant comment on how waterproof they are yet as the weather has been dry & sunny.
