I use these on all my vehicles but initially bought them for my BMW. Chains tear up delicate sensors and can do damage to the suspension parts, so are not recommended by BMW. I wish they made these mandatory for people who don't have experience driving in snow- there would be a lot less accidents and stranded motorists out there.
