I suffer from Raynaud’s, and live in Ontario so have to be very careful with my feet in the cold weather. I use heatmax socks but they are bulky, and don’t fit with all my shoes/ boots and sometimes cause my feet to sweat which leads to them getting colder. I am a woman’s size 9 so debated between the medium and the large. I got the medium, I don’t have wide feet so they fit perfectly, if you have wide feet and are a men’s 7 or women’s 9 I would get the large. These socks only heat the toes, which is perfect for my Raynaud’s, as it is my toes and finger tips that suffer. I charged the battery packs for 4 hours as instructed, I like that the batteries are small and not very heavy. The heat that the socks give is nice and toasty, but not too warm which is a definite plus, because I don’t want my feet to sweat. The only thing I would change is have the socks come up not as high, they come up to mid calf as I have large calfs and they are snug, but understand that they need to come up so the battery pack doesn’t interfere with boots, maybe in the future have multiple sock lengths or a non binding sock option, they don’t cut off circulation in my calf but if I put on weight they might be too snug.
